Every year, between six and eight million dogs and cats enter U.S. shelters; some three to four million of these animals are euthanized because there are not enough homes for them. PLEASE SPAY & NEUTER!!- hsus.org
While it's always best to have tags including your address, home phone number and cell phone number, microchipping your dog or cat will increase your chances of reuniting in case of separation during an emergency. By embedding a microchip under your pet's skin, any veterinarian or animal facility will be able to identify the lost animal's owners.
Make a donation in memory of your beloved pet. Would your class like to Sponsor a Pet? Call Donna: (305) 596-9694
This page is dedicated to the memory of Frankie and Simba... the first cats of Fairy Tails.
"Ask of the beasts and they will teach you the beauty of this earth." - St. Francis of Assisi
I will love you forever... You will always be my Buddums 3/16/94 - 11/17/11.
He was taken from us to soon, but I loved him very very much.
Tucker was only 4 months old when he suddenly passed away. The vets believe he had a brain injury from his past life before he came to Fairytails. He will be truly missed. RIP sweet Tucker.
Jay Jay was a Hurricane Katrina survivor. He was found floating on a board by a firefighter. When Fairytails got him we saw something special in this dog. Throughout the years he did school shows and was in the Miami herald many times. You will be truely missed.
You will both be missed and are forever in our hearts. 05-09
Helping cats and dogs that would otherwise be homeless was always very important to Elizabeth. All of the numerous cats, and several dogs (except one), that we had over the years were strays. Each of them that we had were found under different circumstances, and of course they each had their own unique personality. For years Elizabeth and I had dreams and hopes to someday leave Miami, and I always encouraged her, when that time arrived, to open a shelter of her own that she could manage. This is how important it was to her, and how strongly she felt about it. ~Fred Glesser
And then, some pictures of our past and present furry family members. All of them, each and every one, was rescued by Elizabeth. I know for certain at least two of the cats (possibly three) she adopted through Fairy Tails. Some of the others Elizabeth rescued literally right off the street and were given a loving home. ~Fred Glesser

RIP Cottonball Euthanized at MDAS 02/12/08 We wish we could have told you, in words you'd understand, We wanted you to stay with us. This wasn't what we'd planned. We wish somehow to tell you, How empty we now feel. A part of us went with you, A part that time can't heal. We wish we had you back again, to fill this empty space. But one day we'll be together in a far, far better place. (from Wishes for Okie)

“Farewell, my friend. We will speak your name to the wind. . . . We will dance for you on the living path. . . . We will call the mighty thunder above to keep the storms from you. . . . “We will chant your name in the night. . . . Farewell, my friend. In our memories, we will hold you ’til we meet again.” -Native American Blessing
Mon Cheri, We love and miss you. The Clements Family
We were saddened by the news that Triumph, formerly Speedbump, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Triumph was one of the dogs rescued from New Orleans. He was a loving, gentle, and happy dog. He was even happier when his forever family, Paul, Noni and Anton Heinermann took him into their home. We thank the Heinermann's for giving Triumph the love he so greatly deserved.
